4-day pottery classes series available for kids and adults to get out of the house and have some fun. Wear old clothes and bring a towel to each class. Classes include 4 sessions with an instructor, clay, glaze, and firing. Beginning and advanced students welcome. Pottery is not taken home the last class (it needs firing in the kiln). We will call you when your pottery is ready.
Explore the world of clay in this introductory class to the ceramic arts
For ages 7 and older (no experience required and class limited to 8 students which will be broken up into two groups of 4 to spread out)
Students will have fun with both sculpture (pinch, coil & slab techniques) and wheel throwing over four days in the Mud Room learning & practicing basic techniques with an experienced instructor. The last day is spent glazing. Register Here.

This 4-week class explores the many options of creating with clay off the wheel. All skill levels are welcome - whether you're touching clay for the first time or looking to expand your work to include new techniques and shaping ideas, this is the class for you. If you have never worked with clay before we highly recommend you take the hand-building class first.
This 4-week class is a Beginning level course & is suited for students with little to no wheel throwing experience. We’ll guide you through the wheel fundamentals of centering, opening, pulling, & shaping. You'll create several pieces from start to finish, learning the basics beyond the wheel including trimming and glazing. Please see the event calendar for class start dates.
This 4-week class is a Beginning/Intermediate level course suited for those with throwing experience and the ability and center consistently. We’ll focus on using larger amounts of clay, throwing with intention, attaching to wheel-thrown forms, and more intricate glazing techniques.
We are working to get this class back on the calendar. Please let us know if you are interested and we will contact you when it has been added.
Price includes all supplies, firings (up to 20lbs), and open studio time.
Thursday evenings will be devoted to a special project each evening. Some of the projects will be themed around holidays coming up and others will be held based on their popularity. All supplies will be provided.

Have you ever wondered how to make a beautiful sculpture? Alex is working on his next class ideas and we will have those on the calendar soon so please check often. Our plan is to have one-night workshops and month-long classes going forward.
Practicing ceramicists looking for an affordable studio to work in? Our monthly program may be what you need! The price is per month, including a shelf for storage, studio glazes for that month, and firings (up to 15lbs). Clay can be purchased from us but any outside clay and glaze must be approved.

The Saturday Kids Class if for kids and kids at heart to play with clay while learning the basics of hand-building.
Recommended for kids ages 4-10. Price is per project, parents are welcome to work with their kids or make their own! (Kids must be accompanied by an adult)
This is a night for adults to come to have fun playing with clay to determine if they would like to sign up for a 4-week class. You will learn hand-building techniques as well as get a turn at the pottery wheel. All supplies and glazing will be provided. We will call you when your items are ready to be glazed and you can come in to finish.
Inspired by the Saturdays Kids Class Big Kid Night is for kids at heart to come to play with clay and make a special project. This will be different than our adult clay night which is an introduction to pottery techniques in hand-building and the wheel. This adult night will be centered around making one piece in particular. You get to come in and make something fun with friends or make new friends. A bonus is you are learning basic hand-building techniques.

These classes will range from 1.5-2.5 hours long and the participants will make one project each session. The class will include instruction on how to design a piece for full fusing and slumping in the kiln. Please see the calendar for project descriptions and pricing
Our goal is to add new classes regularly for those of us that want to "learn all the things" but don't want to invest in supplies until we have tried them. We aim to add new classes often--if you have any class suggestions, please let us know!

The "Mud Room" will have open studio hours for non-member and member potters. We ask that you check the schedule below before coming in to accommodate our classes. For non studio members it will cost $10 per hour or $25 for the day and $2.50/pound for glazing plus firing. We only fire cones 04, 06, and 6 at this time. We do ask that you have either recent ceramic clay experience, or have taken a class with us before you come in to avoid any potential mishaps!
We ask that you start cleanup 30 minutes prior to closing.
Morning handbuilding beings at 11 am, and we best advise to arrive after the class ends at 1:00 pm to guarantee free spaces. Afternoon wheel...
Wheel class starts at 6:00 pm so we ask that all throwers finish, including cleanup, by 5:30 pm.
